This game-used baseball is MLB-authenticated as being pitched in the bottom of the 3rd inning by SHOHEI OHTANI to SEAN MURPHY. Murphy flied out to Angels' rookie centerfielder BRANDON MARSH, playing in just his 2nd career game. The defensive putout was the first of Marsh's MLB career!!

Following the flyout, the ball was removed from play and authenticated. The A's defeated the Angels 4-1, breaking onto the scoreboard after Ohtani was removed from the pitcher's mound.
