Mullins singled on a sharp ground ball to center fielder Mauricio Dubon, deflected by shortstop Jeremy Pena in the Top of the 1st inning. The baseball was thrown for 1 pitch! In this game, the Astros beat the Orioles 3 to 1.

Ales Bregman hit his 20th Home Run of the season. 2022 AL Cy Young front runner Justin Verlander was pulled after three innings due to tightness in his leg. In the three innings pitched, he collected 6 strikeouts and gave up no runs. Astros relivers held the Orioles to one run in six more innings.
