This specific ball was used in the bottom of the 5th inning- and used for 4 of Kershaw's 86 pitches on the day. First it entered play and was pitched for a called strike 3 to the Giants rookie catching prospect Joey Bart- who froze on Kershaw's signature curveball. This ball recorded Kershaw's 4th and final K of the game, and his 33rd K of 2020, and the 2497th of his illustrious career.
