Fog City Auctions is pleased to present this unique collectible from the decisive 2016 NLDS GAME 5 postseason matchup between the LOS ANGELES DODGERS and WASHINGTON NATIONALS. This particular baseball was thrown in the bottom of the 5th-inning by Dodgers rookie left-hander, JULIO URIAS to 2015 NL MVP BRYCE HARPER for a pitch-in-the-dirt.

It is a sharp-looking ball that features a clean, silver 2016 MLB POSTSEASON logo and a dirt scuff from play on the side panel. It makes an excellent item to autograph and inscribe as these special-logo'd postseason baseballs are somewhat difficult to find in nice, game-used shape. In this game, Urias -- just 20 years old and making his postseason debut -- pitched 2 scoreless innings and earned the victory, becoming the youngest pitcher in MLB history to win a postseason game.

CLAYTON KERSHAW -- two days after his game 4 start -- pitched as 9th-inning relief with runners on base and closed out the game with a strikeout, earning the first and only career save. The Dodgers defeated the Nationals, and advanced to face the eventual World Series winning Chicago Cubs.

During NLCS Game 4, Urias would break another MLB record and become the youngest pitcher to start a postseason game. Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game by the home team for sale to the public.
