For sale is a game-used authenticated ball from the 10/9/2021 NLDS game 2 between the visiting Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants, won by LA 9-2. This is the unique opportunity to own a historic ball used for 1 of Julio Urias's 15 outs recorded en route to his 7th career postseason victory. This specific ball was pitched 3 times by Urias in his final inning, the bottom of the 5th inning. This specific ball was pitched once by Urias to Giants infielder Donovan Solano, who would fly out on an 88.6 MPH changeup to Mookie Betts for the 13th out recorded by Urias. Next, the ball would be re-used for two pitches to Giants starting pitcher Kevin Gausman. Gausman would take a 93.9mph fastball for strike one, and would foul the 2nd pitch, a curveball off- and the ball would be subsequently removed from play and authenticated. Gausman would strike out later in this at bat with a different baseball. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play.
