For sale is a truly unique collectable from the 2016 NLDS Game #3 in San Francisco between the visiting Chicago Cubs, and the hometown SF Giants. The Giants would win this very dramatic game in 13 innings, however the Cubs would take the series, 3-1, en route to their first World Series championship in 100,000 years.

This specific ball was pitched by Giants legend Madison Bumgarner, who (unbeknownst at the time) would be making his final playoff start as a Giant. This ball was pitched in the 2nd inning, which was Bumgarner's only stressful inning where he would surrender 3 runs on a homerun by the opposing starter and 2015 Cy Young winner, Jake Arrieta. The ball was pitched as part of Addison Russell's at-bat- he would foul this ball off the screen and it would be removed from play. Russell would be hit by another Bumgarner pitch with a different ball later in the at-bat, and he would eventually score on the Arrieta homer.
