This is an official MLB game used baseball from the game between the Angels and the Houston Astros on April 22, 2021. This specific ball was thrown by World Series champion Houston pitcher Christian Javier to Angels catcher Kurt Suzuki. The second pitch with this ball ended up in the dirt and was removed from the game. Javier, who later pitched in the 2021 World Series against the Atlanta Braves, ended up going 5 innings and got the "W". He outdid himself in the 2022 World Series by being the front end of a combined World Series NO-HITTER. Only the second "no-no" in Series history. Of note, in this game Albert Pujols hit his 665th career home run. Shohei Ohtani had 5 plate appearances and like almost ALL of the other Angels, struck out twice. Even so, any game ball from a game Ohtani participated in is a part of history, given that he had the greatest single season of any player in any sport. Couple that with the future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols' 667th home run and the historic nature is multiplied... Especially given Javier's no-hit accomplishment.
