RONALD ACUNA JR GAME-USED GIANTS 60th LOGO BASEBALL 9/11/18 ROOKIE SEASON BRAVES

For sale is a truly unique collectable from the Braves at Giants game in San Francisco on Sept 11, 2018, won by the Braves, 4-1. This specific ball was pitched 6 times in the top of the 3rd inning by former Giant Andrew Suarez. First, it was used for the final two pitches of a strike out vs the opposing starter, Mike Foltynewicz.

Next, it was used for 4 pitches to 2018 Rookie of the Year, Ronald Acuna. The ball was removed after the 4th pitch of the at-bat, and provided to the on-site authenticators. Acuna would eventually walk in this at bat (with balls 3 & 4 being recorded with a different ball).

Acuna had just two hits in the series, and balls authenticated & attributed to his at-bats from this series are a challenge to find! This ball is a rare 2018 SF GIANTS 60th Anniversary Commemorative logo ball, used only for the home games in SF in 2018. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. This ball carries the hologram JD581598.
